Open Competitions at Minchinhampton

At Minchinhampton Golf Club, we host regular Open events to welcome visitors to our Club and to play our magnificent golf courses. Our designated Golf Week is always extremely popular, as are many of our other events throughout the course of the year. Below you will find details on many of the Open events we have to offer. Old Course Seniors Am-Am

20 Aug	Old Course Seniors Am-Am Teams of 4 Stableford Competition played at The Old Course. Best two of four scores to count, handicap allowance is 85%. Open to Men and Ladies aged 55 and over at the date of the competition. Teams can be mixed.
08 Sep	New Course Autumn Am-Am The Autumn Am-Am is a Bowmaker competition open to a team of 4 of any combination. Mens' handicaps are limited to 40, and the Ladies' handicaps are limited to 54. Handicap allowance is 85%, with the best two scores to count on each hole with prizes for the + SHOW DETAILS Entry Fee for Visitors £45pp (£180 per team) and Members £12.00pp (£48 per team).
25 Sep	The Cotswold Pairs This is a partnership between Minchinhampton Golf Club and Cleeve Hill Golf Club to create an exciting Open Competition. The event will take place on Wednesday 25th September (Minchinhampton Old Course) & Thursday 26th September (Cleeve Hill). + SHOW DETAILS The format is 36 holes Better-ball Pairs Stableford (85% Handicap Allowance) and will be open to Men and Ladies, any combination of partnership. White tees for Men and Red tees for Ladies.
29 Sep	New Course Open Mixed Greensomes The Open Mixed Greensomes is a Stableford played over 18 holes, with both players teeing off their respective tees, before selecting the best tee shot of the pair, thereafter playing alternate shots until the hole is completed. + SHOW DETAILS Prizes are awarded for the highest total combined score. Entry Fee is £45 per pair.
10 Oct	Senior Ladies Individual Open This competition is a Medal Competition for Ladies over the age of 50 (at date of the competition). Entry fee is £10 for Members & £35 for Visitors, and includes 18-holes of golf on the Avening Course and prizes.
