All playing subscriptions are exclusive of Golf Union levies which are payable in addition at time of joining and annually at renewal.
Membership of both the Old (Minchinhampton Common) and New Courses together attracts a 15% discount on each subscription.
Full Old Course Member - Old Course and Old Course Clubhouse at all times. A concessionary green fee for play on the New Courses.
Five Day Member - Old Course and Old Course Clubhouse on Mondays to Fridays only. A concessionary green fee Mondays to Fridays only, on the New Courses.
NB: All applications for Old Course membership should be made directly to the Old Course, on an Old Course membership application form. Joint membership applications should be made on the New Course form.
All new Members pay an entrance fee as a single payment, normally equal to the annual sub or over 3 years subject to an annual administration charge.
An additional entrance fee is payable by members transferring from one category of Membership to another e.g. 5 Day to Full or Associate to 5 Day. On transfer the difference between the current entrance fees for the old and the new categories is payable.
All new Full Playing and 5 Day members are invited to take out a Loan (repayable on resignation or death) of £500 payable in a lump sum. Members who elect not to make the loan are subject to an annual surcharge of £20.00 being 4% of the Standard Loan. This percentage is reviewed annually.
The Subscription year commences on 1st February. Any new Member joining prior to 1st May in any year will pay a full year's Subscription. Thereafter, the Subscription payable will be on a pro-rata basis, related to the 1st of the month in which the Member joins.
Young Members pay an entrance fee of £25.00 but will be required to pay a proportion of the full joining fee at the membership renewal following their 30th birthday. The amount payable (if any) will depend on length of membership at the time of transfer. They will also be invited to subscribe to a Loan on transfer.
The normal method of payment is by Direct Debit and all new members (other than juniors) are expected to pay by this method. Monthly payment option is over a minimum of 10 instalments from February to November, subject to an administration charge which is currently 3.1%.
Social Members' Entrance Fees and Subscriptions are subject to VAT at the appropriate rate. There is no VAT on Loans.
